Nurse Travelers Stories

Xtreme Sports as a Travel Nurse

I have always enjoyed extreme sports and the great outdoors. Once I found out that they offered Per Diem nurse jobs in Arizona, I was on the move to Phoenix, Arizona. I participate in extreme sports to keep in shape. I like to stay healthy, and personal fitness is very important to me. I love everything from biking to wakeboarding. Due to the flexibility of Per Diem shifts, I have all the time in the world to take part in my favorite sports. My favorite thing to do on my day off is to drive out to the Grand Canyon for white water rafting and rock climbing. I also enjoy Lake Havasu for water sports such as jet-skiing, tubing, and wakeboarding! If it wasn’t for the flexibility of Per Diem shifts offered by Travel Nursing, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy these activites as much as I can now!

Travel Nursing Turns Dreams into Reality

Travel Nursing has turned my hopes and dreams into reality! I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio but have always wanted to move to sunny San Diego. Due to Travel Nursing I am now minutes away from the beach and I never pass up an opportunity to soak up some sun! I enjoy the great outdoors so living close to the beach, camp grounds, and mountains is absolutely amazing! There is so much to do in Southern California that I couldn’t picture myself living anywhere else again! From the breath-taking beaches to the incredible nightlife I couldn’t be happier. Travel Nursing has turned my world upside down and I am now able to enjoy things that I never thought would be possible.

My Passion for Travel Nursing

Growing up, I have always had a passion for traveling. I have visited many different countries, but have never had the opportunity to pack my bags and start over. As soon as I became an RN, I hit the road! Since, I have taken full advantage of travel nursing and have lived in 5 different states. Due to travel nursing I have not only traveled to wonderful places, but I have experienced a wide diversity of food, culture, and people.
